Many of you already know of Dr. Low’s commitment to our local community, which is why we were delighted when one of our patients invited us to contribute to the Make-A-Wish foundation. One of our lovely patients shared her passion for fundraising for this wonderful organization. The fundraising was held through the Skyview High School pageant which took place on April 21st.
A Little Bit About Make-A-Wish and its Wonderful Work
The purpose of the pageant was to use the funds raised to grant wishes to children ages 2-18 years who are living with life-threatening illnesses. Each wish is personalized for the child by a dedicated team of volunteers, helping to provide a joyful experience and many happy memories. When a child’s wish comes true, it can have a fantastic impact, giving the child and their parents the courage to cope
with medical treatments.
We think the Make-A-Wish Foundation is terrific and it does such important work in our community. All the funds raised help children who live in the Southwest Washington and Portland area. The thought of helping one of these courageous children to smile is genuinely heart-warming.
Why We Love Supporting Our Local Community in Battle Ground
Dr. Low’s contribution to this charity is no surprise to those who know him and is just part of the philosophy of care in going Above & Beyond. Thank you to our patient, Cami Ottoman, who helped raise over $74,000, for thinking of us and allowing us to support the community and families that support our Battle Ground dental office throughout the year. Big congratulations to Cami & Jonah who were crowned this years’ Mr. & Ms. Skyview as the team to raise the most funds!
